As you can see below on the photo with Naomi, there’s a road down there, we are quite high up. But it would appear that we saved the best for last, because this narrow natural bridge, though a little scary was quite breathtaking and you can understand why it got its name “Skybridge”

Angel Windows and Whispering Rocks
Naomi is “feeding the horse”, because as you can see, it’s clearly a horse head.
Battleship Rock Trail
We’re off to get to the viewpoint we could see from the bridge yesterday.
There were a sign that said Devil’s Gulch, but we didn’t think it was going to be like these uneven slippery rocks.
But we made it up among the clouds to the viewpoint.
Here you can see the bridge in the background. It was raining a lot at this point and it didn’t stop until we got down.
The skylift was closed, but the girls were very clear about never taking that anyway.
We did have a very short window with nicer weather on our way to breakfast, but it was already over, but the time we were ready to go the trail.
Red River Gorge, Kentucky
Arrived at Red River Gorge early afternoon and since it wasn’t raining, as we had feared, we went straight for the trail.
Checking out the bear rules before going on the trail.
We made up to the natural limestone bridge, 1.6 km and it took 45 minutes, we had to take some breaks along the way, because it’s quit steap.
Then we went under the bridge to the narrow path up to the top of the bridge.
Hopefully we’re going to the viewpoint that you can see behind the girls, tomorrow morning.
We have a narrow window of clear weather from 8-9.30 and otherwise it looks like a lot of rain.
We got lucky and only had clouds going up today and then light rain on the way down.
View from the lodge that we’re staying at for 2 nights.
Clifty Falls Indiana
We arrived after 2 hours driving from Martinsville and went for several small hikes.
View from our balcony is the Ohio river, Madison and a coal power plant.
And a indoor pool😍
Waterfall on cruise Bergen-Mostraumen
Have never been this close to a waterfall , while still in the boat.
The link above should be a video.
Fjord cruise Bergen-Mostraumen
The little White house on the left, was a school from 1906-1974. The gate open down to the waterfront, because most of the kids would come in rowing boats.
